The Importers & Distributors section documents companies that imported, marketed or distributed replica firearms in Europe and North America.
Particular attention is given to import marks, distributor markings, trademarks and company stamps applied to firearms by firms such as HEGE, ORION, AKAH, Frankonia, Westerners Arms and other historical distributors. These markings often provide important evidence for identifying the origin, distribution history and period of a firearm.
The database is intended to assist collectors, researchers and museums in identifying importer and distributor markings through visual comparison, image search and documented examples from the RFA collection.
