AKAH (Albrecht Kind GmbH) is one of Germany’s oldest firearms and hunting equipment wholesalers, founded in 1853 in Hunstig near Gummersbach. The company imported and distributed numerous Italian replica firearms, including Uberti revolvers and rifles, for the German market during the second half of the twentieth century. AKAH markings found on surviving firearms provide important evidence for the commercial distribution of replica arms in Germany.
