About RFA

The Replica Firearms Archive (RFA) is a private research and documentation project dedicated to historical replica firearms, reproductions and neoclassical arms.

The archive focuses on the products of European and international manufacturers that reproduced the firearms of the American frontier, the percussion era and the early cartridge period.

Its current research emphasis lies on the products of A. Uberti & C., one of the most influential manufacturers of historical reproductions. Future research will include additional manufacturers, importers and distributors such as Armi San Marco, Centaure, Hege, Jäger and other companies involved in the development of replica firearms.

RFA combines research, collection, documentation and practical experience. The archive aims to preserve catalogues, historical documents, technical information, import records and surviving firearms for future collectors, researchers and enthusiasts.

The project is operated independently and is not affiliated with any firearm manufacturer or commercial company.
